Florence, Kentucky – Angstrom Technologies, Inc., a global leader in UV fluorescent technology, is proud to announce the introduction of PFAS Free Red UV Ink, an innovative fluorescent ink developed to meet the growing demand worldwide from customers in the USA, Europe and India, for high-performance materials that support more environmentally conscious manufacturing practices.
Developed by Angstrom’s team of PhD chemists and manufactured onsite at our Florence, Kentucky location in the USA, our PFAS Free Red UV Ink is an advanced organic fluorescent dye engineered to provide exceptional fluorescence while eliminating PFAS often found in numerous industrial and consumer products. The new formulation reflects Angstrom’s ongoing commitment to scientific innovation and responsible product development without compromising optical performance.
Why PFAS-Free Matters
PFAS (Per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances) are a broad class of fluorinated chemicals valued for their durability but increasingly scrutinized because many are highly persistent in the environment. As industries move toward more sustainable materials and evolving regulatory requirements, PFAS-free products are becoming an important consideration for manufacturers. Angstrom’s PFAS Free Red UV Ink delivers the brilliant fluorescence and performance expected from a premium UV fluorescent material while supporting customers seeking to reduce PFAS for next-generation products.
Product Highlights
Our PFAS Free Red UV Ink contains a red UV fluorescent organic dye that is readily soluble in isopropyl alcohol (IPA). When excited with 365 nm ultraviolet light, the material emits a brilliant red fluorescence in the 610–616 nm wavelength range, delivering outstanding visibility and intensity for demanding fluorescent applications.
