Angstrom Technologies, Inc. formulates and manufactures a broad range of high-performance, luminescent pigments, and dyes optimized for a wide variety of media such as inks, adhesives, and laser toners. Our quality luminescent products are designed for a wide range of industries and can be integrated with our electronic detection systems for specific document security or process control applications.

Detection Systems
Angstrom’s fluorescence detection products range from UV LED flashlights to microprocessor-driven systems that detect and measure the intensity of luminescent materials and taggants. Our systems detect and measure the relative intensity of luminescence in printed inks, film, or plastics used in document security, authentication, and process control applications.
We also offer products designed to verify the authenticity of U.S. currency, credit cards, driver’s licenses, and other IDs. Our MoneyChecker is a quick, reliable, and accurate anti-counterfeit tool used by banks, financial institutions, as well as retail and restaurant chains nationwide.
Invisible Color Toner
Angstrom Technologies, Inc., manufactures invisible laser toner pigments for full-color invisible printing as well as invisible monochrome printing. Our team is capable of producing pigments for technically demanding commercial and government entities using high-volume laser printing systems. Applications include photographic security features in state and federal identification documents such as driver’s licenses, IDs, company IDs, and similar documents.
Custom Taggant Blends & Inks
Angstrom Technologies, Inc., excels at developing and providing custom pigment blends providing unique colors for a multitude of ink types and other media, such as adhesives and varnishes. We are continually developing new products and customizing or creating new products specifically for our customers’ exact applications. With our dedicated partners in ink manufacturing, we provide finished ink products to seamlessly integrate with the customer’s current system. We can also work with other media manufacturers and printers to produce custom taggant blends.
Fluorescent Pigments & Dyes
Angstrom Technologies, Inc., offers high-quality fluorescent pigments and dyes that are invisible under normal light and require UV light to be seen or detected. These materials are designed for integration with a wide variety of materials such as inks, varnishes, plastics, and adhesives. Our products have a wide variety of uses and are an excellent choice for document security, process control, and other security applications.

OVP - Optically Variable Pigments
Angstrom Technologies, Inc., is offering a new product line of visible effect pigments. Our optically variable pigments (OVP), are used to create unique color-shifting inks that provide visible (overt) document security features for applications that include passports, tax stamps, currency, and brand protection. Each pigment produces a unique range of colors when viewed from different angles. Our OVPs can be used in conjunction with our invisible fluorescent products for a multi-layered document security solution.
